Networking, Partnerships and Alliances

As part of a broader movement for democracy and transformation Khanya College strives to cooperate with other non-governmental organisations or service organisations offering the same services. As part of achieving such cooperation Khanya College belongs to a number of networks relevant to the work of the college and to the constituencies we serve. In addition, the College has entered into partnerships and alliances with like-minded organisation in order to advance the struggle for political, social and economic justice.

How the College's activities are funded

The College is partly funded through fees from services delivered. These include workshop fees, research fees, fees for writing books, sale of products like booklets and so on. These however constitute only a small part of the financial needs of the College. Most of the funding comes from donor grants from locally and abroad. As part of its commitment to sound financial management, accountability and transparency, the College's finances are audited on an annual basis by an independent firm of auditors.
